My friend who has a story of engineering / welding shed found a cheap source of Aluminium extrusion, from aluminiumprofile.com.au

He picked up some "options" today 🙂

Looks like a Prusa style virtical frame can be made out of plate, and the 30x30 can be tapped to make a MK3 base.
